The Brun de Vian-Tiran Filaventure is an experience to live to the full. During your wander from the garden through the Museum and into the Boutique, our sensorial, interactive, and immersive activities will take you to the very heart of our timeless crafts.
In the wool market, explore the five continents - and beyond - seeking the softest fibres.
In a movie theatre made from thread veils, dream up a new cloth with Pierre and Jean-Louis Brun.
In the maze-like production area, follow the spinning, weaving, fulling, and making-up steps.
Finally, in the laboratory, discover the creations developed in partnership with the top French school of industrial design.
For our younger visitors, carry out an investigation with Edgar the Sheep!
One of the factory's priorities is the quest for fibres. Observation, sensitivity, interpretation, and deduction are all qualities necessary to reveal the excellence of wool fibres. During the tour, go through all the stages which will enable you to become a real fibre-hunter!
At the end, a stamp will validate your enquiry, which we are sure you will have carried out thoroughly.
The game book is given to children free of charge by the ticket office.
The enquiry is fun to do as a team. Children must be supervised by their parent(s) or accompanying adult.

From the skills of a textile factory, to the environment, industry, nature, animal breeding and raising, the history of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and many more.
Don't hesitate to let your students take advantage of this opportunity to share the skills and the values of the last completely French manufacturing site. Here our woolworker craftspeople bring our textile creations to life, from the spinning through the weaving, fulling and making up stages, following each step with their careful, skilled eyes and hands. Respect for the environment is a priority.
The tours are at your own pace and organized by yourselves. However if you would like to discuss your plans regarding a particular subject for your visit, we will try to help you as much as possible.
For kindergarten-age children: the museum tour is not suitable. We could possibly plan a visit theme based on the senses and the discovery of fibres.
